ABOUT ME
With few exceptions, we can help all patients. Alleviation of complaints is also expected for surgeries and non-surgical treatments.
No! Surgery is always performed under anesthesia, the patient does not feel any pain during the procedure.
If the right type of surgery is chosen and there is nothing hindering healing after the surgery, the correction achieved will be retained by the foot and the cam will not be able to re-form.
If you would like to prepare everything for the examination, please highlight foot-related documents from previous medical papers, specifically the final reports of any previous surgeries, possibly a surgical description.
If you want to take up-to-date X-rays taken elsewhere, please only take a standing X-ray. These are called standing, under-load AP and direct lateral images. It is a uniformly accepted opinion in foot surgery that the foot is loaded with the weight of the body during use, so the position of the bones and joints should also be displayed on the X-ray image when loaded. Only these can be used to assess static changes in the foot.
